I think that Antonio pen against Burnley could be described as 'soft' but the player did actually grab at his leg as he tried to shoot.
So it was a pen. And given it wasn't a genuine attempt at a tackle it should have been a red card. And wasn't
Think I asked around then when was the last time we had won a game due to a dodgy decision by a ref and it was decided it was the win at Blackburn when Tevez actually blocked Zamoras shot on the line during the Great Escape.
So .... once ...: 10 years ago.

Lets be honest we were so bad against Newcastle that they could have had 3 players sent off and it wouldn't have made any difference. Now if Noble had been sent off we may have had a chance

Spot on Sven

Much as we have shit owners, a seemingly incompetent manager and limited squad, we seem to have no luck when it comes to this sort of thing. Last season wasn't quite so bad but how many overturned red cards did we have two seasons ago? And then that was the season where aguero was retrospectively banned after Man City with the score at 2-1 and both falls uni and schweinsteiger should have been sent off at old Trafford. Even the Southampton game his season, it's not an excuse for arnies elbow but had their player been sent off for elbowing him hen his frustration wouldn't have boiled over

Pretty much the only dodgy decision goingnfor is I can think of was Antonio winning a penalty (against hull? Or burnley) last season

A foul usually implies some sort of tackle trying to get the ball.
This was just cowardly thuggery and should be a 6 game ban at least.
Is there any danger that any ref could actually SEE one of these incidents during the game and send one of our opponents off?
Just once

Maybe Arnautovic should've used the same excuse....
